Microneedle radiofrequency, or microneedle RF for short, is currently one of the most popular aesthetic medicine treatments. Commonly called a “lift without a scalpel”, it is the ideal treatment for people over 35 who want to rejuvenate and stimulate their skin naturally. But not only that. It is also an ideal way to get rid of acne scars and stretch marks.

What kind of treatment is it?

It is a treatment that combines two techniques in one: needling with simultaneous heating of the skin by radio waves. The punctures injure the tissue, which stimulates the skin’s natural regeneration. The radio waves, by heating the tissue, stimulate its renewal.

What is it used for?

Microneedle RF is used for:

  • reducing scars,
  • rejuvenating the skin (softening wrinkles, firming the skin, lifting the facial contour),
  • reducing stretch marks.

What does the skin look like after the treatment?

The skin is red after the treatment, because inflammation has been deliberately induced. Recovery does not take long, unlike after a fractional laser, for example. The skin usually recovers after 2 days.
