The revolutionary medical Dermapen device has changed the approach to preventing the signs of skin ageing. The innovative technology allows precise adjustment of the speed of movement and the depth of the needles to the individual needs of the area being treated. During the treatment the skin is stimulated in two ways: mechanically and biochemically. On the one hand, the micro-injuries activate the skin cells — fibroblasts — to regenerate its structures, including the natural production of new collagen and elastin fibres. On the other hand, the micro-channels created make it easier for the active ingredients in special cocktails, such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids, to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin.
Medical Dermapen is a low-invasive procedure whose main goal is to rejuvenate and improve the condition of the skin, increase its hydration and even out its tone. It is performed with a small device fitted with a cartridge of 16 fine molybdenum needles (free of chromium and nickel). Microneedling naturally initiates the creation of new collagen and elastin fibres and hyaluronic acid in the skin.
Thanks to the patented pulsating-needle technology, which helps deliver active substances into the epidermis and dermis, therapy with the medical Dermapen is more effective and safer than previously known microneedling methods.
Because the treatments can be adapted so widely to the individual needs of the skin, microneedling works both as a preventive anti-ageing course and as an effective method of reducing wrinkles, dry skin, uneven tone, pigmentation and enlarged pores. The substances applied to the skin during the treatment act in a targeted way, so the skin becomes better hydrated, more elastic, smoother and radiant.
The microscopic damage created by the treatment triggers a series of repair and regeneration processes in the skin.
- In the first phase, growth factors are released and new epidermal cells, collagen and elastin fibres and hyaluronic acid are created.
- In the second phase the skin remodels: type III, IV and I collagen, elastin and proteoglycans are formed, and new blood vessels develop.
- In the third phase the remodelling continues, blood supply improves and the structure is strengthened by the new collagen fibres.
The medical Dermapen is an original medical device for fractional skin microneedling, holding all the necessary certificates confirming its effectiveness and, most importantly, its safety.
Dermapen holds the CE1370 certificate and the CE mark, which means it meets the essential requirements of all the relevant European directives on medical devices.
