Microneedle mesotherapy (commonly called dermapen) is the controlled injury of the skin with punctures made by a dermapen fitted with sterile needle cartridges, which densely puncture the skin to a depth of 0.25 mm up to 3.0 mm.
The treatment involves controlled puncturing of the skin to various depths, depending on the effect we want to achieve. The punctures stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, prompt the skin to renew itself and densify it, which makes it the ideal treatment for post-traumatic scars and loose skin. This is also the main effect of the treatment.
Indications for microneedle mesotherapy:
- scars
- acne scars
- stretch marks
- wrinkles
- loss of skin density
- support in reducing pigmentation
- signs of photo-ageing,
- loss of skin firmness,
- acne and post-treatment scars,
- fine lines,
- pigmentation,
- dry skin in need of hydration.
Microneedle mesotherapy — results
Microneedle mesotherapy improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin and brightens it. It reduces cellulite, expression and static wrinkles, contours the face and also helps limit sebum secretion. The results are visible after the very first treatment. Importantly, the skin absorbs the applied cosmetic product very quickly.
After the treatment the skin is visibly brighter, deeply hydrated and rejuvenated. Post-surgical and acne scars are reduced, and sun-damaged skin is regenerated. Mesotherapy reduces enlarged pores. One more effect is worth mentioning — it works against hair thinning.
